Can I use magnets and sticky notes (ex. Post-it) with the board?
No- it is not allowed to use those items with the board as it may cause damages to the sheet motor inside the board when sliding the sheet.
The sheet has darkened after using for a long time. How can I clean it?
Wipe the sheet with the cloth wrung out of water.
Avoid using any glass cleaner or organic solvents to prevent the sheet damage.
Contents written in the upper and bottom edges of the sheet are not printed.
Make sure to write the contents within the effective reading area of the sheet. For the detailed information of the effective reading area of each board, refer to its user's manual.
What is the warranty coverage for the board?
It differs according to areas you will purchase. Contact your local dealer or distributor.
What is the "firmware update" of the Copyboard?
It is to update the program software which internally controls the Copyboard. You can download the latest firmware from our website and can install it on the Copyboard.
How can I configure the security functions of the board?
Contact us using "Application form" to have the security software. It allows you to select "able" or "disable" to save the scanned data to the USB memory stick and the computer.
What is the TOOLBOX?
It is the integrated software combining the application and utility software. It allows you to utilize features such as: operating the board from a PC, configuring the security function, setup Header/Footer function.
How many computers can I install the TOOLBOX on?
You can install as many as computers which you may want to use with the board.
What is the size of a saved image file?
It is approx. 200KB in the standard mode and 600KB in the High-resolution mode.
Is the TOOLBOX software compatible with Mac OS?
No- the TOOLBOX software is compatible only with Windows OS.
Can I print the combined image from the on-board printer or save it to the USB memory stick?
No - what you can print or save to a USB memory stick is only written contents by a marker and not with the projected image.
Can I use any brand of projector?
You can use any brand of projector equipped with a VGA or HDMI port.
What is the maximum size to be projected onto the board?
The maximum size is 60 inches (Each 1cm away from the edges of the upper and lower frame of the board).
What is the size of a saved image file?
It is approx. 300KB in JPEG format.
The sheet of the board has darkened through having been used long time. How can I clean it?
Wipe the sheet with the cloth wrung out of water and make sure the sheet dries up completely when using the board again.
Avoid using any glass cleaner or organic solvents to prevent the sheet damage.
Can I connect any printer to the CR-5?
No - use a compatible printer only. For the compatible printers, contact your local dealer or distributor.
It is not easy to insert a USB memory stick to the CR-5 when configured vertically.
You can use an extension USB cable which comes with the product.
Can I mount the board upside down to the stand when installing vertically?
No - it will cause malfunctions.

Can I save the written contents on the board with colors?
No - only black & white image is supported.
Print paper does not come out by pressing the "print" button.
Check the following possible causes;
"Paper warning lamp" on the control panel is flashes. Replace the paper with a new one.
A print paper is jammed. Open the printer cover and place the paper properly.
Print paper roller (black rubber roller) is dusty. Open the printer cover, and clean the rubber.
Why is the paper advancing, but the copy printing out blank?
Check to see if the thermal roll was put in backwards.
Why is the copy printing out pale or faintly?
Check the following possible causes;
Old dry markers - or not pressing hard enough to produce an even color line.
The printer cover may not be shut completely.
Operating configuration of the board may not be appropriate. Increase the brightness of the copy using the setup utility.
Why is there black lines of my printout?
Scanning malfunction: conduct "quick calibration". For the details, refer to the User's manual.
The grid lines are scanned : Decrease the brightness of the copy using the setup utility.
Temperature in your room is very low. : A fluorescent lamp inside the board is not ready. It may takes for a while until light volume of the fluorescent lamp will be sufficient.
The contents written by color markers other than black, red, or blue markers are not printed.
Only the above 3 color markers are available to be printed properly.
I have installed a USB driver and a TWAIN driver, but I can not acquire an image using TWAIN-compatible image application such as ImageViewer.
It may not be registered to the device manage properly. Uninstall USB driver and re-install it.
