Is the board compatible with Mac OS?
Yes - following features are available with your Mac OS-based computer:
You save the written content on the board as the image file to your computer via a USB cable connection and view it.
You can store the written contents in a network-connected board and browse or download them to your computer.
also you can configure operating conditions of the board.
How can I set up the network connection?
Assign an IP address to the board to browse the stored images in the board built-in web-server or transfer images to the FTP server on the network.
Can the network-connected board print the saved image from a printer on the network?
No - save the scanned data to your computer first and use your computer to print it from the printer on the network.
Can I create multiple folders in a network-connected board or in a FTP server connected to the board?
No - creating multiple folders is not supported.
Can I access and browse the saved image stored in a board after turning it off pressing the power button?
Yes - the board will stay in stand-by mode if the power cable is connected, allowing you to access to the board from your computer.
Can the board connect to a wireless LAN?
No - you need to purchase a wireless access point which is commercially available and then connect it to the board.
Can the board be mounted to the wall?
Yes (except F-20 series) - before the installation, make sure that strength of the wall is sufficient for the wall-mounting.
What is the "firmware update" of the Copyboard?
It is to update the program software which internally controls the Copyboard. You can download the latest firmware from our website and can install it on the Copyboard.
Can I scan the written contents on the board by scrolling the sheet by hand?
No - press the "Save" or "Print" button to scan the written contents electrically.
Do I need to install any software on my computer to use a Copyboard?
No software is required to be installed on your computer on.
*C-20 software is needed to combine the written contents with the projected image into a single image file on your computer.
Can I place the printer tray on the right side of the stand bar? (except F-20)
No - the printer tray can be placed only on the left side of the stand bar.
The sheet of the board has darkened through having been used long time. How can I clean it?
Wipe the sheet with the cloth wrung out of water.
Avoid using any glass cleaner or organic solvents to prevent the sheet damage.
Can I use magnets and sticky notes (ex. Post-it) with the board?
No - it is not allowed to use those items with the board as it may cause damages to the sheet motor inside the board when sliding the sheet.
What is the warranty coverage for the board?
It differs according to areas you will purchase. Contact your local dealer or distributor.
How can the board combine the written contents with the projected image into a single image file?
The C-20 software installed on your computer combines the scanned written contents and the projected image.
Combining procedure
Draw contents onto the projected image by board markers.
Start up the C-20 software. Trace 4 circles by a board maker, which appears on each corner of the projected image.
Connect your PC to the board via a USB cable and click "Combine" button of the software.
When the combined image appears on your PC screen, click "Save" button of the software with a desired file name and format (PNG, JPEG or PDF).
Do I need to install any dedicated software on my computer?
Yes - the C-20 software is required to be installed on your computer in order to combine the written contents with the projected image into a single image file.
Is the C-20 software compatible with Mac OS?
No - the C-20 software is compatible only with Windows OS.
However, following features are available with your Mac OS-based computer:
You save the written content on the board as the image file to your computer via a USB cable connection and view it.

Can I print the combined image from the on-board printer or save it to the USB memory stick?
It can be printed from the on-board printer via your computer having installed the printer driver.
However, it is not possible to save the combined image directly to the USB memory stick.
Can I use any brand of projector?
Yes- you can use any brand of projector equipped with a VGA or HDMI port.
What is the maximum size to be projected onto the board?
The maximum size is 60 inches (Each 0.5cm away from the edges of the upper and lower frame of the board).
What is the size of a saved image file?
It is approx.300KB in JPEG format.
