Is it possible to use magnetic markers and sticky notes (ex. Post-it) with the Captureboard?
It is not allowed to use those items with the Captureboard. In case of using them, it may damage the sheet motor inside the Captureboard when the sheet slides.
Is it possible to use the Captureboard as Copyboard?
Yes, however it is necessary to purchase a compatible printer as an option. Please note that you can print only written contents and can not print the projected image from the printer connected to the Captureboard.
Is the Captureboard same as the Interactive Whiteboards? If no, what are differences?
The Captureboard is not same as the Interactive Whiteboard in terms of products concept. What you can do with the Captureboard is, to project an image by a projector onto the screen and to write notes directly on the screen by a whiteboard marker. Then you can save the projected image and written notes all together on your computer. The Captureboard is very simple to use and has a flexibility for the productive meetings.
Both written contents and the projected image can be printed from a printer connected to the Captureboard or saved to a USB memory?
Only written contents by a white board maker can be printed and saved to a USB memory.
Can I use any brand of aprojector?
Basically you can use any brand of a projector for the general meetings.
Without a projector, can I use the Captureboard?
In case you do not use a projector, you can use the Captureboard as the Copyboard. It means you can print (in case a printer is connected to the board) written contents on the screen or save them to a USB memory.
What is the maximum projection size with the Captureboard?
Maximum projection size is 60 inches (i.e. approx 1 cm away from the edges of the upper and lower frame)
Why is only the wide size model available?
Wide size enables to project an image of 60 inch and in addition, the blank space is available where you can write like agenda, notes and etc.
Is any setting on my computer required before using the Captureboard?
You need to install the Captureboard software before using the Captureboard.
Does Captureboard software support for the PLUS Copyboard?
No, the Captureboard software is available only for the Captureboard c-11W.

No, the Captureboard software is does not support for Mac os.
What is the format of the saved data?
It is JPEG or PNG format and selectable.
What is a size of the saved data?
Approx 300KB in JPEG format.
Remark 1: Data size depends on volume of the contents.
Remark 2: Data size in PNG format is larger than that in JPEG format
What is the Captureboard software?
Using a Twain driver, the software captures written and drawn data on the Captureboard as an image and then superimpose it with the projection image on the computer.
Which color of markers do I need to use to fix the position of the projected image?
You can choose among "No specific color selected", Red, Green, Blue and Black. "No specific color selected " means that you can use any of 4 colors.
How can I trace 〇 (circles)?
Properly draw the 〇 (circle) marks in the of the projected marks.
Maintenance
In order to keep quality of the screen sheet, please clean the sheet in following way regularly;
Moisten a cloth with water and wring it well. Then wipe the sheet with it. Glass cleaner, organic solvents and OA cleaner are not allowed to use as they may damage the screen surfase.
The sheet of the Captureboard has darkened through having been used long time. How can I clean it?

In case you wrote with an oil marker on the screen of the Captureboard,
In case you wrote with the oil marker, it might be able to clean it by following way. First, marker the part out with the supplied marker and then erase it with the supplied eraser. However, this way only works in case of an oil maker with the alcohol system. If you wish to replace the sheet, please contact your dealer.
Can I use non-PLUS brand marker?
Please use the dedicated markers only in order to keep the screen clean.

Is it possible to use non-PLUS brand eraser?
No, Please use the dedicated eraser in order to keep the screen clean.
Eraser became dirty and it is difficult to erase smoothly.
Remove the sponge from the cover and insert the sponge reversely as both sides have an erasability. In case both sides became dirty, please wash the sponge with water and use the eraser again the sponge dry up completely.
Do I have to assemble the Captureboard by myself?

What can I do if I lost the operation manual or assembly manual?
It is possible to download them from PLUS Vision's Web-site.
It seems that the Captureboard is defective. Please advise us how to solve the problem?
